About Me

I am half Hongkongnese and half German, raised by Francophile parents in mainland China, educated in Britain, and currently based between Paris and New York.

After spending most of a decade in global marketing agencies working with some of the biggest brands in the world, I went solo in 2017 in order to pursue my passion for food and wine.

I taught myself to cook through sheer determination (and trial and error), and in 2020 launched an artisanal Chinese food and private cheffe business, which you can learn more about here.

I taught myself about wine by badgering sommeliers and distributors and sampling as much as I could get my lips on, then spent time harvesting grapes around France and Germany.

These days, I split my time between cooking, be it pop-ups, teaching dumpling-making classes, private dining experiences, or professional recipe or menu development, and freelance branding and marketing work where I specialize in food and wine.
